With the PublishPress Blocks plugin, the PublishPress Content Display block can display your posts. Several layouts are available including Grid, Frontpage, List, Masonry, Newspaper and Slider. Content filters include category selection, Number of post/products, column numbers and many extra.
The Slider view allows you to show the featured images prominently with text on top of the image. Viewers can scroll through the stories.
